Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. recognizes that the entire world is our service area. Therefore, we seek to touch the lives of individuals in need all over the world. Our organization has 12 international chapters. These chapters serve communities in Canada, England, Japan (Tokyo & Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Liberia, Bahamas, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, West Africa, South Africa, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.

International Awareness and Involvement programming and fundraising efforts have supported the sorority's international efforts of numerous programs including

- Adelaide Tambo School for the Physically Challenged
- Delta House/Vashti Village
- I Can Fly School
- Mary Help the Sick Mission Hospital.
